Overview

The Trive Technology project focused on creating a web page to explain their design process through the interactive Trive Transformation Model. Users could explore the four phases—like Strategy—by clicking layers of the model, which expanded accordion sections with details. Collaboration with the marketing team helped simplify the content, while design adjustments ensured animations worked consistently across devices. The final result balanced usability, functionality, and clarity.

My Role

As a UI/UX Designer, I created the interactive Trive Transformation Model, streamlined text with the marketing team, and collaborated with developers to ensure responsive animations. I also refined prototypes to keep the design focused and user-friendly.

Goals

  • Simplify Complex Workflows: Present Trive’s design process, including the four phases of the Trive Transformation Model, in a way that was clear, digestible, and easy to navigate for users.

  • Engage Users Through Interactivity: Create an interactive experience, allowing users to explore each phase of the model dynamically through clickable layers and expandable content.

  • Align with Branding: Ensure the design reflected Trive Technology’s innovative, professional identity while remaining user-friendly

Proces & Solutions

Animations posed another challenge, especially on mobile, where hover interactions weren’t functional. We adjusted to tap-to-expand functionality, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. Additionally, early team section animations pulled too much attention away from the model. Simplifying these kept the focus balanced. These changes brought clarity and usability to the design while meeting content needs.

The Trive Transformation Model needed to present complex information clearly while managing a lot of content. Users on desktop could click on any of the four layers—such as the inner layer, Strategy—to expand the accordion and reveal details about that phase. This interactive approach simplified navigation and helped users focus on one phase at a time. Collaborating with the marketing team, we reduced text length while keeping the content impactful.

Results…

The final design made complex workflows accessible through the interactive Trive Transformation Model, with expandable sections for each phase. Collaboration with the marketing team streamlined content, while animations were refined for seamless use across devices.

and Reflections!

Reflecting on the project, earlier testing with end users could have provided more insights into usability, particularly for non-technical audiences. Additionally, closer alignment with developers during prototyping would have streamlined implementation. Overall, the project demonstrated the importance of iteration and teamwork in creating an engaging user experience.
